Insider Gaming sources indicate that Ubisoft has a busy schedule of major releases in 2026 and 2027, which includes the next Ghost Recon game, tentatively titled Ovr, as well as Assassin’s Creed Hex, and the recently announced Splinter Cell remake.
The company is also working on the next Far Cry game, tentatively titled Project Blackbird, and an Extraction Shooter spin-off called Project Maverick, alongside a remake of The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It is also working on Project Alterra, a project similar to Animal Crossing.
The report also indicates that the company is working on a remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and a version of Assassin’s Creed Invictus, but these projects won’t be released until 2027 or perhaps later. The same applies to The Division 3, the next version of The Crew, and a number of other smaller projects, but the company’s projects planned for next year will be enough to provide a year full of strong releases from the company.
