Rumor: Activision rejected Steven Spielberg's offer to work on a Call of Duty movie!

After the official announcement that Paramount had acquired the film rights to the popular Call of Duty series, we heard reports that the famous director Steven Spielberg was also personally interested in making a film for the famous series as he is a fan of it, but Activision rejected the offer!

The reason is that Spielberg wanted complete control over the project regarding various aspects such as which shots would appear in the final product, marketing, complete control over the production process, development budget, and other terms, which was a source of concern for Activsion management, who chose to work with Paramount because its deal provided the company with greater control over the film.
