Renowned leaker Dusk Golem confirmed via a tweet on X that a Resident Evil 5 remake has yet to receive the green light from Capcom, meaning the project is not currently in development. Despite persistent rumors, it appears the wait may be long before we see the enhanced version of Chris and Sheva’s adventure.
According to the same tweet, Dusk Golem believes that the Code Veronica remake has been in development since 2022, and that development is progressing smoothly and ahead of schedule thanks to a stable development cycle.
