Firaxis, the development team behind Civilization 7, has announced the layoff of a number of its employees. The layoffs included prominent names on the team, such as writer Emma Kidwell and producer Maya H. The team justified these layoffs by saying that they were part of a restructuring process.
The number of employees affected by these layoffs has not been determined, and it appears that they will not affect the team’s plan to support Civilization 7 with updates.
