The King of Fighters, the 2D fighting game series from Japanese company SNK, celebrates today the 31st anniversary of the release of its first game. The first part, The King of Fighters 94, was released on August 25, 1994.
There’s currently no talk of a new installment in the series, but SNK, which was acquired by the Saudi MiSK Foundation, has seen a strong comeback in the gaming industry in recent times, and there’s no doubt that The King of Fighters will return.
