Microsoft recently announced on its official blog the testing date for the Game Library feature on the Xbox PC app. The feature will also be available for its upcoming mobile devices, in partnership with ASUS, the ROG Phone.
This week, a select group of gamers will be able to test out the Game Collection feature via the Xbox app for Windows 11 PCs, mobile phones, and ROG Xbox One consoles . With this new feature, your Xbox game library, hundreds of Game Pass titles (membership required), and all your installed games from other PC stores will always be at your fingertips.
How will game collection work on the Xbox PC app?
With the unified game library, players can easily launch games from Xbox Battle Net, Game Pass, and more from a single library within the Xbox app on PC. So whether you're using a Windows PC or mobile device, your Xbox library, hundreds of Game Pass titles, and all your own games are now at your fingertips.
When a player installs a game from a supported store, the game will automatically appear in the "My Library" section of the Xbox app for PC, along with a "Recent" list of titles in the sidebar, making it easier to get back to your games. And this is just the beginning, as Microsoft has announced that it will gradually continue to support additional PC stores.
This feature will be very useful on upcoming mobile devices, what do you think about it?
