Rumors Suggest Casio is Preparing Three New G-Shock GA-V01 Models
Rumors are swirling that Casio is working on three new versions of its unique G-Shock GA-V01 watch. Originally released in early 2025 in four different colors, the GA-V01 stands out with features like a new Shock Release hand, world time support, multiple alarms, and a long-lasting battery life of up to 10 years.
According to trusted leaker geesgshock, the upcoming models are expected to be:
-
GA-V01-4A (Bright Pink)
-
GA-V01-7A (White)
-
GA-V01A-9A (Gold)
These additions will join the current lineup, which includes:
-
GA-V01-1A (Black)
-
GA-V01-2A (Blue-Violet)
-
GA-V01-9A (Neon Yellow)
-
GA-V01A-8A (Silver)
The new models are likely to share the same dimensions—49.1 × 58.2 × 19.6 mm (approx. 1.9 × 2.3 × 0.8 in) and a weight of 74g (approx. 2.6 oz)—along with a resin case and band. If they feature the same specs as the existing models, we can expect shock resistance, the innovative Shock Release hand, 200m water resistance, and world time support covering 48 cities.
Additional features may include a stopwatch, countdown timer, multiple alarms, a white LED backlight, and Neobrite luminous coating for improved visibility in the dark. The current GA-V01 models run on a replaceable CR2025 battery, offering up to 10 years of use.
The new Casio G-Shock GA-V01-4A, GA-V01-7A, and GA-V01A-9A are expected to retail for around $140 / £119 / €139. However, the exact release date and availability by region are still unknown.
